Ακολουθώντας τη φανταστική γραμμή που ενώνει δύο μεγάλους πολιτισμούς βρέθηκα από την Αθήνα στη Ρώμη. Μεγαλώνοντας με τους θρύλους και την ιστορία του αρχαίου ελληνικού πολιτισμού, ήθελα να περάσω αρκετά χρόνια της δεκαετίας του 2020 στο λίκνο του αρχαίου ρωμαϊκού πολιτισμού, τη Ρώμη. Νιώθοντας την επιβλητική αύρα που πηγάζει από κάθε γωνιά της αιώνιας πόλης, ξεπήδησε μπροστά μου η ζωή, η ανάσα, η μυρωδιά, το φως και η σκιά. Από αυτή την περιπλάνηση, η αντίθεση μεταξύ ζωής και αστικού τοπίου φαίνεται στην επιλογή μου για ασπρόμαυρες λήψεις με υψηλή αντίθεση. Η Ρώμη κατά την άποψή μου στηρίζεται σε μια λεπτή ισορροπία το ένδοξο παρελθόν από τη μια και την ανάγκη να αγκαλιάσει ένα μεγάλο πολυπολιτισμικό ανθρώπινο μωσαϊκό. Μεγάλη πρόκληση.

Following the imaginary line that unites two great civilizations I found myself from Athens to Rome. Growing up with the legends and history of the ancient Greek civilization, I wanted to spend several years of the 2020s in the cradle of the ancient Roman civilization, Rome. Feeling the imposing aura that emanates from every corner of the eternal city, life was springing up in front of me, the breath, the smell, the light and the shadow. From this wandering the contrast between life and urban landscape can be seen in my choice of black and white shots with high contrast. Rome in my point of view rests on a delicate balance the glorious past on the one hand and the need to embrace a large multicultural human mosaic . A big challenge.
