Ο Ανδρέας Ζαχαράτος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και σπούδασε φωτογραφία & κινηματογράφο στη σχολή Κινηματογράφου & Τηλεόρασης Λυκούργου Σταυράκου.
Εργάζεται ως Διευθυντής Φωτογραφίας σε κινηματογραφικές και τηλεοπτικές παραγωγές.
Θιασώτης της Άμεσης Φωτογραφίας «Straight Photography», έχει πραγματοποιήσει 42 ατομικές εκθέσεις σε Ελλάδα και Ευρώπη.
Ως εκπαιδευτής έχει διδάξει επί σειρά ετών σε δημόσια & ιδιωτικά Ι.Ε.Κ.
Ιδρυτικό μέλος της Ελληνικής λέσχης Leica.
Μέλος του Επιμελητηρίου Εικαστικών Τεχνών Ελλάδας Ε.Ε.Τ.Ε.
Έχει εκδώσει επτά μονογραφίες.
Andreas Zacharatos est né à Athènes et a étudié la photographie et le cinéma à l’École de Cinéma et de Télévision Lykourgos Stavrakos.
Il travaille comme Directeur de la Photographie dans des productions cinématographiques et télévisuelles.
Fervent adepte de la « Straight Photography » (Photographie pure), il a réalisé 42 expositions individuelles en Grèce et en Europe.
En tant qu’enseignant, il a professé pendant de nombreuses années au sein d’Instituts de Formation Professionnelle (I.E.K.) publics et privés.
Il est membre fondateur du Club Leica Hellénique.
Il est également membre de la Chambre des Beaux-Arts de Grèce (E.E.T.E.).
Il a publié sept monographies.
Andreas Zacharatos was born in Athens and studied photography & cinematography at the Lykourgos Stavrakos Film and Television School.
He works as a Director of Photography (DoP) in film and television productions.
An avid proponent of “Straight Photography”, he has held 42 solo exhibitions in Greece and Europe.
As an instructor, he has taught for many years at public & private Vocational Training Institutes (I.E.K.).
He is a founding member of the Hellenic Leica Club.
He is also a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece (E.E.T.E.).
He has published seven monographs.

In qualità di docente, ha insegnato per molti anni presso Istituti di Formazione Professionnelle (I.E.K.) pubblici e privati.
È socio fondatore dell’Hellenic Leica Club.
È membro della Camera delle Belle Arti della Grecia (E.E.T.E.).
Ha pubblicato sette monografie.
